Unearth The Unknown
A downloadable game for Windows
In this atmospheric game, players follow the journey of a protagonist who arrives in a quiet, eerie town, stepping off a train with a single destination in mind: the town cemetery, where he plans to meet his friends. After a solitary walk through darkening streets, he arrives at the cemetery to find his friends gathered as promised. They greet him, and together, they begin exploring the winding paths between the gravestones, enveloped in the stillness of the setting sun.
As they walk, the protagonist turns to check on his best friend, only to find him missing from the group. Alarmed, he scans the surroundings and hears a faint, strange sound from where they came. Without a second thought, he rushes in that direction to search for his friend. In a moment of distraction, however, he stumbles and falls into an open grave he hadn't seen. The world goes black.
When he awakens, he’s startled to find himself back at the train station, sitting on a bench as if nothing had happened. His head spins as he tries to make sense of the unsettling dreamlike memory. Determined to see his friends, he rises and heads toward the cemetery once more. This time, however, he notices the unnerving shift in the atmosphere. The sun has completely set, and the air is thick with an uneasy silence broken only by faint whispers drifting through the station—perhaps just the wind, or perhaps something else.
Pushing down a rising sense of dread, he quickens his pace, his heart pounding. He reassures himself he’ll find his friends and that this nightmarish feeling will fade. But when he finally reaches the cemetery, his worst fears are realized. The grounds are deserted, and his friends are nowhere to be seen. Standing there alone in the shadows of the cemetery, he’s left with an overwhelming sense of isolation, questioning what was real and what was imagined.
